Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs seeks to strengthen Stanford’s startup community by fostering relationships among entrepreneurs and alumni investors.
Our community approach creates diverse opportunities for education, professional development, advising and mentoring, and growing one’s business and investment portfolio.
SA&E is open to all Stanford alumni and affiliates including students, faculty, staff, and parents or spouses of alumni or students.

Desh Deshpande, is a highly successful tech entrepreneur, philanthropist, venture capitalist, founder of the Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation at MIT, on the board of Trustees of MIT and founder of the Deshpande foundation. President Obama appointed him to the Co-Chairmanship of the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, to support the President’s innovation strategy. He is board chair of Akshay Patra.
Prof. Andrew Ng, Andrew is Co-founder of Coursera, and an Adjunt Professor at Stanford University. He founded the Google Brain project and was former Chief Scientist of Baidu where he led their AI group. He is among the eminent world authorities in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. At Coursera he democratized access to quality education.
